North ShiftLock Carbon Handle & Boom

Looking for the right handle setup for your North Mode Pro or Nova Pro wing? North ShiftLock Carbon handles and booms react instantly to your input, and they slide and lock into any position along the strut.

ShiftLock handles are sold separately from the wing, so you can build your ideal setup. Choose between the 250, 400 and 500mm handles (usually used in pairs) or a single 950 or 1100mm boom.

Handles or boom?

• Boom (950 / 1100mm): the lightest option, with only two mounting points instead of four. It is also the most cost-effective and the most forgiving, because you can slide your hands along it during tacks. It suits riders of any level, and especially lighter winds and bigger wings.
• Handles (250 / 400 / 500mm): precise, targeted hand positions. The short 250mm handles are aimed at more advanced riders.

Features:

• Stiff, lightweight carbon for direct, instant response
• ShiftLock mount: slide and lock into infinite positions on the strut
• Compatible with North wings that use the ShiftLock track (Mode Pro, Nova Pro, Loft Pro)

Sizes: 250mm / 400mm / 500mm handles, 950mm / 1100mm booms

Note: the 1100mm boom is not compatible with the Nova Pro 2.9m. Check North's size chart for the recommended handle combination for your wing size.
