If you feel that your board is nosediving even when advancing the mast to its maximum within your housing, then correct this "nose down" effect by placing the thicker side of the rake towards the front of your board.

Conversely, if you sense significant pressure from the foil on your front leg, place the thicker side of the shim towards the back of the board.
